The fate of the human race, and the planet for that matter, literally is being held together by an already damaged concrete wall... Does that not scare anyone else? Though it has been a year since the earthquake that caused a tsunami resulting in the partial collapse of the Fukushiam Daiichi Nuclear Plant, the threat of a global disaster on a level that has never been seen before is more likely than most will acknowledge.
As am I sitting here typing this reactor number four has structurally unsound. It is literally on the verge of collapse and radiation continues to leak out. Japan itself is also in huge trouble both financially and politically from the effects of the tragedy at the plant. Thousand of people have already perished and there is a real threat that millions, yes millions, of people will die from the radioactive fallout in the coming years. Why are we not talking about this? Why has this topic not been mentioned on a newscast for month now? Why aren't the best scientists in the world working endlessly attempting to figure out a solution for what just may be the end of mankind? The paper yesterday mentioned that Snooki was having a baby boy and Miley was all grown up because she went out wearing a shirt showing side boob... Really? This information takes precedence over what many are calling the worst nuclear accident in the history of the wold, something that will make Chernobyl look like a fireworks display in comparison?
You do not have to be a genius to see the threat here people. It is simple food chain science. The water is extremely contaminated and radioactive. The fish live in the water, obviously. We eat the fish.... That is the best case scenario!!! The worst case is a complete collapse of reactor four resulting in airborne particles capable of traveling as fast as the wind can take it. This is not some stupid play to make people worry about nothing. It is not another y2k or Mayan calendar prediction. This is science, plain and simple. But don't waste your time concerning that... they are just about to announce who Khloe K's real dad is!!! Yeah, much more important.
Is it hot in here or am I Crazy?
What makes you think that scientists aren't doing anything about this? Are you there overseeing the efforts, or lack of?
ReplyDeleteScientists are doing things about this but his point is not only is this not just a Japanese problem but a global one needing a global solution. And second people should be informed when global catastrophes are on the horizon instead of pretending everything is perfect. The exact point of journalism, too bad the media controls all news. Enjoy another big mac.
